This is a proposal for nerding out Contact Improvisation, for reading while dancing, for warming-up while listenning to a podcast, for rolling on the ground while watching movies. We’ll dive in a series of textual practices and historical forays into some forgotten archives of Contact Improvisation: we’ll write, we’ll read texts, we’ll see old films. We’ll be in the look out for some fugitive ancestors, and celebrate the queer, the wayward, & the wyrd potentials of this dance form. Recommended: a good-enough practice of English and a fair geek fiber.
