In the first days of February, we invite you to a Winter Jam!
The winter aura is conducive to contemplation, seeking inner warmth and reflection. In a snowy (who knows!) aura, we invite you to three days of improvisation, dance and somatic practices at the Mazovian Cultural Institute. There will be space for meeting in dance, experiencing yourself, and experiencing community.
Organising big jams is one of the traditions of contact improvisation – a several-day gathering of the KI community to share practices, dance and exchange experiences in equal relationships. The community: dancers, guests and facilitators share a space for dance throughout the day, with time to experiment with the form and group aspects of the practice. The program below is indicative. We want to invite you to various practices, and we look forward to your suggestions.
We have a fantastic team supporting the space, including Ksenia Opria, Weronika Pelczyńska, Tomasz Domański, Filip Wencki, Olga Skrzypek, Julian Zubek and Klara Łucznik.
Musically, the evening jams will be filled with Katarzyna Tekielska, Martin Daniel Zorzano, Olga Skrzypek and Tere Dydymał.
Fruits, snacks, and tea will be provided during the winter jam.
Cost: 85 EURO for the whole event (100 EURO after 5th of January)
